Introducing the 4-5 day Formosa Coastal Camino – a slack packing trail along the Nature’s Valley to Plettenberg Bay coastline for groups between 6-12 persons on specific scheduled mid-month dates.

The Camino concept – which is based on the idea of a spiritual journey or pilgrimage – takes clients through nature-based spiritual experiences, with the support of local professional guides. Walking distances are around 10 to 12km per day. Enjoy overnight stays on route. All walks are professionally guided, with local professional guides, transfer operators, and our local co-ordination, marketing and booking team.

The Trail starts up the coastline from Nature’s Valley, with a guided walk to Nature’s Valley, to overnight there before heading via the Salt River to the Crags for the 2nd night. From there the group will be guided via Forest Hall to the coast and on to Enrico’s in Keurbooms, before spending a 3rd night near there, on Stanley Island.

The next day the group will have a choice of doing a river boat ride and walk up the Keurbooms River.
Or be transferred to the Robberg Nature Reserve for a full day’s walk around the Peninsula to finish that afternoon.
Or do both add-on activities with an additional night at a guest house in Plett. The 4th and 5th day add-on options are subject to an additional cost.
